I hope Motorola will develop the DragonBall family further and will produce
50MHz or more processors.
After all, Motorola has sold more than 10 million DragonBalls just for the Palm
market, and probably much more for the mobile phones products. So I guess they
can afford to invest in developping this processor further.
Also, a protected mode would be fine. Actually they need to use a 68020 or 68030
core instead of the 68000 code of the DragonBall. But of course this can affect
adversely power consumption, so I hope they will do it carefully.
