Hi Gerard:
What version of CM are you using? I run win 2000 pro and have been able to get
cm 7000 to run on atleast one win2000 computer. Unless I'm mistaken...I do not
believe there is a way to get cm 6000 to run on win 2000. I've heard that the
new Chessmaster 8000 will run fine on win 2000 pro.

All that said, I have fritz6 and Junior 6 and really like them both alot,
especially for their analysis. Matthew
P.S. I grew tired of win 98's crashes too. After using win 2000 pro since about
april or so, I can't see my self every going back to the win 98 family.
