right.

you are completely right. but
i am talking about differences in chess programs.
its no shame to win a match against a chess program that cannot
play chess.

there are other things machines can do better than humans.
this is not the question.

the discussion was about relative differences in chess programs.

my thesis was that gambit-tiger is a member of the new paradigm,
gandalf too, cstal first.

oh - i forgot pionier ! from botwinnik :-))

the others believe that tuning evaluation will bring the effect.
i have to disagree.
but we will see...
