Ten Reasons Insomniac Didn't Perform Well
  1. It had a viral attack, no antedote available.
  2. The virus was benevolent, but the antedote messed up Insomniac.
  3. It was caught in a bad biorhythm cycle.
  4. Recent sunspot activity has interfered with normal node counts.
  5. Gama Ray bursts from the edge of the universe have shown the
world to be much smaller than thought, depressing Insomniac.
  6. Jet lag was a major factor in the performance level of Insomniac.
  7. A current love affair between Insomniac and an undisclosed celebrity
made it impossible for the chess program to concentrate during
     competition.
  8. The program was annoyed over recent negative press coverage.
  9. Insomniac never claimed to have invented the Internet,
     contrary to public opinion.
 10. Insomniac was only about 30Kb when arrested as a youth,
this sort of thing could happen to any fledgling program.
