Frank/Uli, I don't know where the file became missing, but the comet.ini file is not in the Dos Comet zip file. I have no idea if that's a problem at all, but I noticed that I didn't have to go and reset everything when I unzipped the newest version into the Comet directory, I usually need to reset the colors and time/level to how I like it, and this time it kept the old settings. So, hmmmm, I checked and there wasn't the file comet.ini in the zip file. I just don't know if you need that if it's the first time you use Dos Comet, maybe it's a problem, maybe not. I obviouslly already had the file though, so for me it was no problem. Pete
