CAB support appears to be unavailable for the Macintosh. See http://www.aladdinsys.com/faqs/fileformats.html for a list of alternative formats usable with Stuffit Expander, the program almost all Mac users use for decompression. If it's simply a matter of compressing multiple files together rather than separately, I support others' suggestions of .tar.gz or .tar.bz2
