The rating was not a quote from us and we cannot validate or not validate it, at least at this time. Once the program becomes available and testing begins, we will have a much better sense of just where the program belongs in the scheme of things. In the meantime, we are removing that line and ALL lines that make reference to strength until they are validated by third parties. We will do that with any chess programs that are listed on our site but not yet available. You will have to give us a day or so to complete the project, however. Sorry about that. We have really tried over the years not to perpetuate the inflated rating syndrome, but I guess we did not do an adequate policing job on this one. That statement could very well turn out to be true (or not), but I think we may have jumped the gun. Steve (ICD/Your Move Chess & Games)
