Subject: MAC problems with Hiarcs 7.0 and PowerPC Processors

Hi All,

Obiviously, I'm work for ICD but please don't think this a commercial plug. I
just talk to many end-users of these programs and came across a problem that
maybe some of you may have a solution to. I'm at a loss myself.

As the title implies, it involves Hiarcs and Mac's. It appears that on some
PowerPC machines, under certain circumstances, Hiarcs will not run! If one
follows the installation instructions, and clicks on the file named "HIARCS 7.0
(PPC)", the application appears to boot, but is not active or running. I have
observed this personally on some older 601 based Performa models and on several
G3's and on my dual 500Mhz G4, 7 gigaflop monster MAChine. Also several
customers have mentioned this occuring, as well.

Has anyone else had these problems? Am I doing something wrong or is there some
other method for installing or runnning I am not aware of? Maybe Richard Fowell
would like to chime in here!

See Ya
