I would say it is no better or worse than any other computer chess software.
It obviously played very strongly.  It did some things normal programs can't
because it had special-purpose hardware wrapped around it.  But to say its
eval was poor is wrong.  Of course, we can't say a lot about how good it
was either since the software has never been made public.

Needless to say that overall it was definitely a killer machine.
