Sure, but with Nalimov's builds, the difference is not nearly so dramatic.  Dr.
Hyatt uses GCC for Pentium, which is a good 30%-40% slower than what Eugene can
build.  Also, Tim Mann's version has a huge loss with multple CPU's for some
reason (IIRC).  Also, the proposed CPU speed was roughly doubled for the Xeon
chips.  I think it would be a push, but I doubt if any 4x1000 Xeons exist yet.

It would be a fun experiment to try.
