That is almost obvious, without the need of playing any game: more >cpus implies more raw search speed, which in turn implies deeper searches and >consequently stronger play. hi José de Jesús García Ruvalcaba, I did understand the point, but when a topic starts with "shredder5 is not the best", it gives space for "unwanted arguments" IMO. he is talking about shredder being SMP, I dont see any reason for that, as in many tournament shredder has proved itself by winning with relatively inferior PCs. there is no deep shredder or shredder_SMP, there is no news regarding that in any weboage or even by the author. So stating that deep shredder (which doesnt exist) will be the best is just dubious thoughts. IMO that is, Pavel ;)
