I think Dann probably has the right ordering.

Anyone got one of those new Apple Cubes - the ones with the vector processors
similar to the old Cray C90 processors in performance?

My guess is you'd need to optimise the code for the vector processor - or make
sure you get the vendors C compiler at the very least.... Bob might be able to
help you with this kind of stuff as he has a little(8-)) experience at that sort
of thing.

The machine chops out a peak performance of several GFlop - which is what you'd
get solving certain fluid flow problems. Still looks like a possible contender
for the list and with no cooling fan - very quiet - I can see it melting under
Kasparov's hard stares.

Who said you can't have a Cray 8-)
