A pattern is emerging that Fritz is outscoring Junior against high ranking human players. This is all my humble opinion, of course, but I think that Junior is probably tuned to play against other computers - more so than Fritz. In the past, at Aegon, programs like Fritz and Rebel used to show that they could do well against humans (if my memory serves me correctly), wheras Junior used to do well in the computer championships (winning WMCCC Paris 97, for example). My views seem to be getting more vindication by the day! -g
