Subject: Crafty 17.13 stronger than 17.14???

I played an 8 Game match (same machine)Celeron overclocked to 541Mhz 128 MB Ram
32MB Hash,17.13 - 17.14  4-0-4.I thought 17.14 would be stronger, any comments.
Also pawn hash on 17.14 is in multiples of 5 not 4 like on 17.13 Why?
