No, chess programs are not capable of conscious decisions.

The same goes for GT. And they search the right positions because of the right
score. Of course "right" or "wrong" score doesn't really make any sense as it's
actually an empirical term, but I presume you know that.

Don't worry, we have electricity and central heating in Denmark.

That's the problem, I do. The new paradigm is about using the right words
without being bothered by something as irrelevant as actual knowledge. I suggest
you read some of the things written by the programmer. It might actually
enlighten you.
