Thanks for your quick responce, Ed.  Sorry i do not quite understand
what you mean.  Do you mean that there are two promotions in a row, or
something else?
When i load the PGN and then save it to the database, all goes well.

Furthermore i found out that a game from before about 1795 cannot be
saved with that date, or imported from a PGN, is dat right?
