To you, the US is all popular culture.  I have to believe that you think this
way because it supports your political point of view, and because you are, if
not a provicial German, at least a provincial European.

If you visited here you wouldn't like it, but at least your reasons wouldn't be
so stereotypical.  You sound like someone would sound if they decided they
didn't like Germany, based upon watching a whole bunch of episodes of Hogan's
Heroes and a day spent at Yad Yashem.
