Subject: Best Crafty Engine?

Ok, thanks to all who told me what Win Board engines are out there.  Based on
what I saw, I think Crafty is the best.  (Am I wrong?)

I think crafty 17.07 was very strong.  What is the best one?  Bob?

I know that one is tempted to say the current version is best, since that one is
the latest improvement, but is it?  I recall Bob writing things like, 'I tried
to fix the king safety in ver x+1 but I am not happy with it'.

So what do you all think?
