Well, I think that the latest is the best. Reason: Hyatt is the only person who
knows the most about his creation - so if he fixes something he most of the time
knows the best what he is fixing and why. Most of the new releases fix bugs from
previous versions.

But there are two points to remember (everyone of us should): 1. Hyatt's object
is to make Crafty play strong chess against human opponent, other programs don't
have the first priority. 2. Crafty has been and still is an experimental
project. It means that there is no _final_ release. There are new releases which
maybe fix bugs and maybe introduce a new feature which either works or not.
