What I had in mind was the performance of Deep Fritz vs other programs as compared to Fritz 6 against the same programs. Then the margin is 50+ ELO :) Uri, the hardware I use is a dualboard PII-400, 128 MB RAM, and a o/c Celeron 433 (522Mhz), 128 MB RAM. When comparing programs I do not mix apples and pears, i.e. I compare only programs on the same hardware, usually playing on the same dualboard (PII-400 vs PII-400, ponder on). On occasion I do use the two different computers, but both my cat that loves playing backgammon, and my wife (backgammon again) have objections then, demanding the Celeron and Jelly Fish all for themselves... *** Djordje
