hi enrique, this mb has been benchtested and compared to other dual processor mbs, it will hold its own. this will be a very good comp chess pc. with dual 933's, this should be about 1600 kns with fritz6, fritzmark test. just make sure you are running win2000, or an os that is compatible with your chess software and that will run the 2nd processor. that is a lot of ram, 768 megs. make sure that the manufacturer installs the 133 ram, to take advantage of that motherboard. for more reading on this, you can go to toms hardware, anandtech, aces hardware, www.dualprotech.com, www.motherboard.org, and go to msi homepage at, msicomputer.com. have fun and good luck with your new pc
