I remember that the first game was very pleasant with a beautiful king attack
and I had posted a superficial analysis of it somewhere but I don't have it
handy ( so you will have to look at the game for yourself ) .
But when I look at the records Virtual is currently the only program with
positive score against the Tiger ( surely not conclusive with two games ) .
I personally like Virtual very much and I think it has received quite a few
undeserved harsh critics for its unusual and sometimes buggy GUI ; it takes some
time to get used to it , agreed , but after I worked it out and adapted to my
needs I liked it very much .
Virtual is a very uneven engine but plays an active interesting game of chess
IMHO and I am sorry it vanished the market as of 1997 . I estimate its strength
somewhere around the Genius5 region .
Greetings.
pete
