Well, for starters, running tests on one box with a GUI in between is not the optimal setup (better to use two machines if you can). Plus you need to make sure that the engines have a comparable setup: e.g. both are using pondering (or not), both have opening books enabled, etc. My guess is something's wrong with your setup, but I don't have any experience with Chessvision so I can't be more specific. Why not run your tournament with Winboard? Most of these engines were designed to work in that environment, and you'll get a lot more help here if you have problems with it. --Jon
