No, it will not make a difference unless you have a very slow computer (486).
If your computer is fast enough, changing the priority will not help at all, and
at worse you will just have the display refreshing after large delays. The
engine will not compute faster.
You can leave this setting on "normal".

The default settings are the best known at this time. Just give Rebel-Tiger II
(Chess Tiger 13.0 or Gambit Tiger 1.0 engines) as much hash tables as possible.
The new Tiger engines will benefit from huge hash tables even in very fast
games. Even 192Mb is OK in a game in one minute!
