Fritz ended second, but as close to the first as it was in the last WCCC in London. Junior 6a 73/120 Fritz 6a 69/120 Nimzo 7.32 64.5/120 Rebel Tiger 61/120 Hiarcs 7.32 57/120 Shredder 4 55/120 Century 40.5/120 But there is something else I never quite understood: I have and like Century 3, Gambit and Tiger, and I also like Deep Fritz and Shredder 4.x and others. And-And-And. Why should it be and/or? Why is it necessary for some to shoot at other programs in order to praise the oh so great chosen one? As for Fritz, doubting its competence either in its GUI or in its ability to play strong chess is, in my opinion, on the verge of the grotesque. For other opinions, one could check Anand's, for instance, who has been quite explicit. Enrique
