I would say the user interface would improve a lot if the scaleable pieces had a
better design. I can hardly play with the unscalabel sets as this looks so ugly
when I have a large chess table on my screen.

As I never us 3D anyway I can just say that the flying pieces made me laugh..:-)
In other words they are a joke. Better remove them or improve them....

Please do not do that! I would only have to turn it of. Its probably nice if you
play Computer VS Computer chess, but for playing a normal game vs the PC, its
only anoying.

Perhaps you could take a little look at the way Fritz do that, also giving its
+= etc. after the score.

I find Gambit Tiger real nice to play. Its not feeling like playing all the
other PC programs! ...and by the way. Chess Tiger never consider 23...Qb7? on my
PC.....
