I think CM6000 uses by default 1Mb of hash. But I can be wrong.
Anyway, even if it uses by default 10 times more hash tables than CM8000, it
does not even begin to explain to poor result of CM8000.
Something else went wrong, I assume. Maybe playing the two on the same computer
is the problem.
You should ask Didzis Cirulis, he knows how to prevent CM6000 to steal CPU usage
from the other programs running with it in the same Windows session.
Didzis used to have a web page, but I cannot access it anymore.
