Subject: The next revolution in computer chess is here

Yes ladies and gentlemen, from the man who brought you the
facial evaluation in Mint (I like to call them smilieval),
here comes the next innovation.

MintMic!

It implements algorythms never before seen or even thought
of in computer chess. It does its best to mi(nt)mic the
opponents game! How does it do this? Well, most noticeably
it likes to move its pieces to the same rank or file that
you last moved a piece to. It also attempts to obtain and
maintain a symmetrical pawn structure.

What on earth is this all about you ask? Well, just try and
play it personally, I can tell you that I think it really
is a lot of fun! You get some incredibly unexpected moves,
and sometimes very strong ones with untypically deep
strategical ideas behind them. Or at least you can pretend
that there are :)

So download it now!

But please, don't go through any trouble putting it into
databases or playing it in tournaments or whatever, its
just a little hack and pretty much inferior to most
other engines. The purpose of it is to give you a really
different chess experience. It isn't even on the Mint
page yet.

Bu bye!
