Yes, because it doesn't support MPlayer at all!! ;-) Chessmaster 8000 only supports TCP/IP, LAN and modem, because MPlayer support was so poor (on MPlayer's side). There were also legal reasons for this, but mostly it was because it was difficult to play there (as you discovered). jm
