Maybe wait for a patch (if there ever will be one) > >I give the program 6/10 (but it is rising the further I look into it) Hmmm, I got chessmater and I have none of the problems that you do. 1) It loads normally (Takes about 5sec P3 450) Everything is on the hard drive. 2) I haven't had 1 crash what-so-ever (using Win98) 3) Like you, I enjoy teh interface, always have with chessmaster. Looks great. 4) Good winboard support. That's a plus. 5) The King engine seems super strong. More testing needs to be done on my part. 6) the database takes about 3 seconds to load. Very fast for me. 6) I like it over all. rating: 8.5/10 :)
