Thanks for your reply.  Just a couple of things: why would MacChess want to
report nodes*5?  Is it just to make it look faster than it is?

About Sigma Chess.  Have you got the new version (5.1)?  It's optimised for
PowerMacs, and runs about 1.5 times as fast as the previous version.

Indeed.  Problem is, I lose all the time!
