Gordon,

My chessbase 8 crashed twice since it was successfully installed on my old
computer Pentium 166 MMX a few weeks ago.

As far as my experience, it seems to me that chessbase 8 crashes more often on
newer high-end computers.

My chessbase has the feature called "Upgrade Online" availabe under Help menu.
So I hope future patches from online will fix some bugs in chessbase. In the
meantime, when I find a bug in one feature, I avoid using it until I get a patch
from online. Besides, whenever I use any feature that has a bug, a message about
error or bug appears on my screen and asks me to send it by email to chessbase
for studying and fixing bugs. That's wonderful and we are encouraged to do it.

Anyway, I enjoy working around chessbase a great deal. You can't go wrong if you
buy it.

Take care,
Eran
