It changes Thorsten's credibility only if you are new in this forum.
For those who know Thorsten, it's not hard to make the difference between his
feelings and hard data.
Thorsten expresses his feelings, and does not hide that. He says what he likes
in chess programs and what he doesn't like.
It's not worse than people saying that they are objective but who actually do
the same and express feelings (and generally they don't even have half of
Thorsten's computer chess background).
Sometimes I disagree with the way Thorsten tells his opinions. Sometimes he goes
too far. But that's the way he is. So take Thorsten's posts with a grain of
salt.
On the other hand he also runs engine matches, and publishes the results. There
are no feelings involved when he gives the results. You can trust them.
