Since Hiarcs 6 for the Mac is out and if VC 2 for the Mac gets produced, Mac owners will have access to two of the strongest chess programs on the market as well as free programs like Crafty and MacChess 4.0 So I don't see what you have to complain about considering the relative size of the 2 markets.
