Here's another idea for you: Tournament consisting of, Kasparov Kramnik Kamsky Deep Blue Kamsky's father with a baseball bat & fighter's gloves. Then if something goes wrong, and Gata is in a bad position against Deep Blue, Rustam can just use the Bat. If Gata is having trouble against the other player's then Rustam can use the gloves Then, after this tournament is over (the more rounds the better!), the winner can meet Karpov again for the F.I.D.E. title! - Of course Karpov's seconds (goons, or whatever you want to call the fide guys) will then make sure that Kamsky plays Karpov alone and immeidiatly after. (Rustam would be kept busy doing Gata's medical homework) - after all, Gata will be in great shape! - Sounds fair to me! :) mrslug - the inkompetent chess software addict!
