i don't think that programs like hiarcs or mchess or the king/chessmaster or
even cstal need any excuse.

related to junior they know more. and do use the knowledge more specific.
how do you want to deny this ?
i cannot interprete your comment in another way than offending some people.
maybe this is your revenge.
whatever.

i remember a game in paderborn where shredder played junior.
the rook moves or junior did not look as if shredder needed ANY excuse.
i thought the opposite would be true, and junior needed some good excuses.
