Thats e x a c t l y what i meant and what the people here laugh about. therefore they called the usa banana-republic or 3rd-world country. i don't think i have to dislike USA or their culture. this is another topic. the question is: in clichee or pr-campaigns we before thought: the usa is a democratic country. they have elections and sometimes elect a strange president (ronald reagan: actor and cowboy, nixon: liar, papa-bush: cia-boss, carter: peanuts, next maybe jr.ewing or arnold schwarzenegger...). but now we suddenly all have to learn: they don't even have regulations for elections ! i mean: all you have to do is to count the votes. and you should do it precise. and if this is in question, you have to count again. if you DON'T count all votes, it's like in the UdSSR or GDR (eastern-germany) or in one of those states in afica or in a state where a dictator let's elect himself. just count the votes you like... we all trusted that they count legally. nobody ever put this in question, not we - maybe even not the americans. but suddunly , and all the discussions and interviews show us: not that they don't know HOW to do, they don't even have laws to know how ! its in no way organisez. it's completely arbitrary. it was all only a hollywood-movie. it never really existed ! we are all betrayed. you believe there is a southfork-ranch. you believe in vivian leigh and clark gable, but it's only fiction. star trek never happened. before you believed: this is the enterprise and spock exists. and suddenly you find out: star trek was only a long long and never ending tv-serial ! aha ! but we all believed it exists ! and we thought it is a democracy ! it isn't ? oh --- unbelievable how real fiction can be ! where no man has gone before. >No wonder so many countries are begining to dislike the US.
