Dear CCC, At least we know what the programs stand for and how well they perform. This political stuff in the USA is being hyped by the media. Two to four percent of the "electorate" in the USA are non-USA citizens but I don't think that Mr. Czub or Mr. Cummings voted for our President. Or did they? The next election at this club will be in determining which computer program is the strongest against both humans and computers. I believe that it will be a choice between Fritz 7.0, Rebel 11 and Shredder 5.0 . As much as I love the Rebel programs, I think that Shredder 5.0 on fast platforms will be the best. If price is no limitation then I think if you had Fritz 7.0 and Shredder 5.0 playing together against any other human or computer that Fritz/Shredder would be the top "Honcho". Rebel 11 has the most bang for the buck on more humble platforms and will be the ongoing choice for many of us cognoscenti. Tim Frohlick
