Only the so called March2000SOS is able to play under Fritz and other CB GUIs but this version is commercial now. At the first time it was on the YoungTalents CD of Chessbase (DM 129) but since a couple of days it is possible to buy it as a standalone(DM 29) (Sorry for knowing just the German prices...) Btw there are some others who wont work under Fritz but Phalanx is not one of them! As I remember there were FRANCESCA and maybe AVERNO not running or making serious problems; And in my opinion in the first line of the ini(t) file there should be only a hint for the GUI, like xboard or sometimes xfritz if xboard wont function but no way the path of Tablebases. As I remember you should put the path for the tablebases at the end of each ini-file. Right now I see the example from Mogens in the upper posting, you should do so also;make a new line at the end of your ini: PATH_TB = "c:\Tb" (change in your path) Good luck from Germany Günther
