Just did a little experiment with Phalanx (from Dann Corbit's ftpsite). The
.init file should look something like this:

[Parameter]
CommandLine = -t32768 -o-
Engine      = Phalanx
Author = Dusan Dobes, Czech Republic
Debug       = False

[Support]
AnalyzeMode = False
PonderMode  = False
CastleAndEP = False

Drop the -o- if it's the original Dusan Dobes version.

It beat me in a blitz game, so it's really strong ;o)).

I don't think that is correct. Usually that's handled by the configuration file
of the WinBoard program itself like the AnMon example. Adding a path in the
.init file won't help AFAIK.

The path was already present in the AnMon.ini.

Mogens.
