Since you are a former military man, your opinions will be patriotic. Are you still that patriotic when CIA files released years ago, said they started the Vietman war simply to mask their drug trade in making the CIA a more wealthy organisation. Because we had ties with the US we were forced to send men to that senseless war in which many Aus and US men died. So do not throw US competence at me. Our defense ties dictate that the US and Austrlia will support each other in National defense situations. So if we were ever in trouble, then your country will have to come and fight alongside us. Just like we did in Vietman and many other places.
