I'm not sure I understand what you mean. Tiger cannot run with 0Kb hash table.

Also I don't understand why you can't use pondering. Pondering means "thinking
on opponent's time". Is it what you mean? I don't see any reason that would
prevent the program to "ponder", unless you disable it.
