Please read the original post again.

Obviously not everyone here can be an expert in computer chess, and it wouldn't
even be desirable. I have nothing against new ideas, and off topic posts can
sometimes even be the most fun/interesting.

But I *do* have problems with people who for example

1.) rate programmers here ("these are the top innovative programmers", "one of
those will win next WC") without even understanding how chess programs work and
knowing what others work on. IMHO this is very arrogant.

2.) post a lot of short messages without much time in between, without thinking
much about them. This scrolls other messages people have spend time on
researching, formulating and thinking about to the button or even worse to the
next page.
