I agree. It's a bit premature to bury good old Fritz 6 just yet.

Yes, the strength differences between the best programs are minimal. Too close
to call to use a CNN expression.

Don't worry about it. I know someone who owns the program and he still presists
in making ludicrous and erroneous statements. Guessing the name won't win you a
prize :o).

I've played a few games against a WinBoard beta, but nothing substantial so far.
Not enough to form an opinion anyway. The addition of TD is interesting though.
