Maybe it should have been deleted. But as I said early on, I am loathe to delete posts unless the uproar demanding it crosses some threshold level. It nearly got there, but I would rather see _all_ threads that are off-topic die of their own lack of interest, rather than disappearing through the magic wand of the moderators. If you think my "STOP NOW" wasn't polite enough, maybe it wasn't. The email WAS polite. It was apparently ignored. Or it didn't arrive. Or it simply hasn't arrived yet. I don't know. The original post was a US bashing. I don't think it _deserved_ a polite response.
