I don't mind being told not to discuss off topic subjects, but I'm not so sanguine about being told that it's inappropriate to discuss shortcomings in the American government because it upsets Americans. This was the very reason I waded in before - because I felt that this was what Bruce was saying. I feel that the current election problems expose serious shortcomings in the election process (trust me when I tell you I'm not the only person in the "outside world" who feels this way) - and it's not appropriate for Americans to tell us not to discuss them because it's upsetting them. As far as I'm concerned, though, this is a CC Club, so the deal is that I won't post any more anti USA stuff if the USA stops posting "you shouldn't talk about our election". -g
