With the Chessmaster #1 personality there is the maximium of 128 MB of Hash Table (Transitional Table) available for a 20 minute game. I don't think you should be concerned with wanting more than 16 MB for blitz. Rebel-Tiger 2 is the only program I know of that will distribute the HT amount automatically. I believe it also takes a lot of your free RAM away. Anyway, with CM8000 I would tend to believe that 16 MB is more than enough for blitz.
