The earlier versions [1999] may have been rated using slower single processor computers. Comparing apples and oranges. Incidentally, until fast quad computers become available to ordinary people, the 2650 ratings are also unavailable to ordinary people. An exception might be if the single-processor computers available to ordinary people become much faster.
