I think you shouldn't be so quick to accuse him of cheating. I've played him
myself, and i can tell you that his blitz (even 2 12) is really bad due to
lagging and poor concentration. It's fairly common to have lower blitz ratings
compared to standard. I myself currently have a 1500+ blitz rating and 2000+
best (currently at 1900)at standard.. That is a 500 point gap..
And my blitz rating is achieved mainly by playing 2 12.
I played against him at standard and blitz b4 and i think for him the difference
between the 2 time controls is even greater..But is he really strong enough to
have a 2300 standard rating? I don't know, i figure him at 2100ish but it could
just be a random flucation..
As for his former admin status, i view it more as a postive point that he is
unlikely to cheat.
In my view, a 2-1-1 record against Tiger is impressive, and unlikely, but not
so unlikely that you can accuse him of cheating..
In conclusion, the blitz rating means little,some 1500 blitz players can be
easily over 2000 at standard..And this would make them strong enough to
occasionally cause upsets..
