I feel that The Gambit Tiger has no grasp of 'initiative', whatever that means. Witness how it in some games trow away good positions to grab a pawn or the exchange instead of continuing the attack. Rebel Century seems much better at that, so I feel confident that that will be incorporated into Tiger eventually. Another issue is that the GT will respond earlier to my attacks, and thus not present the customary 'You got nothin' feeling when attacking a computer as it plays you with no regard for your attack happily munching material, very discouraging. I cannot deny feeling encouragement when GT aknowledges my attack/bluff/initiative by reacting to it. I feel confident that Christophe Theron will produce a much improved successor.
